Generous Jimmy V sponsor and HOOTER'S CEO, Coby Brooks, is going undercover in HOOTER’s restaurants for the TV show Undercover Boss. Coby has been to the Jimmy V two of the last three years. Coby became CEO about 4 yrs ago when his father, Robert, passed away. They all live in Atlanta where HOOTER’s is headquartered.

Five dollars from each ticket will be donated to the Kay Yow/WBCA Cancer Fund Silent Auction prior to the game featuring game-worn items from Coach Kay Yow, autographed memorabilia, tickets to sporting events, and more! New Blog is Here!

Greetings, volunteers! The Jimmy V blog has been underused, but now we are here to say it will be kept more relevant, and we've added some new function. You can now subscribe to the blog via a web feed, and check out new posts via your email or web browser! This makes it easier to follow what is put on the blog without having to remember to check our web page all the time. Here's how to subscribe:
- Go to the blog web site at http://www.golfclassic.org/volunteer-blog.html
- Click on the Subscribe to Posts [Atom] link (click on "Atom")
- On the screen that comes up, select which of these ways you want to subscribe:
- Select Live Bookmarks to put a button on your browser; clicking on that button will list all the blog entries at any time
- Select Microsoft Office Outlook to add a web feed to your Outlook that contains all the blog entries
- Select My Yahoo or Google to add it to your personal Yahoo or Google pages
- Then click on Subscribe Now to start your subscription

If you want to have the blog entries show up in Mozilla Thunderbird e-mail, send a note to the volunteer ID at left and we'll tell you how. It's a little complicated.

As Jimmy V gets more and more into electronic notifications of news, these blog entries will be more important and you are encouraged to subscribe and get the most current information. Thanks, and we will be blogging to you!
